The Social Audit is based on the international agreement “Social Accountability Standard 8000” (SA 8000) which establishes the standards of working conditions.
It is inspired by the conventions of the International Labor Office (ILO), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Children.

It states:
- to prohibit child labor and forced labor,
- to guarantee hygiene and safety,
- to prohibit discrimination of race, sex or religion and corporal punishment, physical or mental coercion and verbal abuse,
- to limit the weekly working time to 48h, limit & pay overtime,
- to watch that salaries paid for a workweek are equal at least to the minimum legal wageWe can check and ensure compliance with these standards..
